Common allergic conditions include:
Allergic Rhinitis: People suffering from this condition typically have symptoms of runny nose, nasal congestion, postnasal drip, often accompanied by nasal itching.
Allergic conjuctivitis: Eyes are often itchy and teary. Allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis are often present in the same individulas. In addition, some people develop itchy eyelids. Scratching the itchy eyelids often causes a rash.
Asthma: Asthma may present with a dry persistent cough. Asthma symptoms often include wheeze and shortness of breath.
Eczema: Eczema or atopic dermatitis is an intensely itchy skin rash, most typically present behind one's knees, in the elbow creases, behind the ears and often on hands and ankles.
Urticaria: Hives often appear out of nowhere and may be a reaction to a medication or a food.
